Nick & Sam's: Upscale Steakhouse & Seafood Experience in Dallas

We visited this local gem after a long time! I was delighted to find that it still maintained its exceptional food and service quality. Despite being packed for a Sunday, the food was incredibly delicious. We indulged in a variety of dishes, including sushi, arugula and goat cheese salad, tuna tartar, a truly delectable steak, and the chefs’ special butter chicken. To cap off the birthday celebration, we savored the decadent lava cake with local ice cream. The live piano music added to the ambiance. They had some of the most beautiful desserts and it’s a perfect place for celebration with larger groups. I’ve already set a reminder to return soon!

We were very impressed by this restaurant, as the level of service exceeded our expectations. The experience, from arrival to departure, was exceptional. The ambiance was excellent, and the staff were outstanding. Our server, Matt, provided comprehensive guidance throughout our dining experience. Management was visibly present and actively engaged in assisting patrons. We extend our particular gratitude to Waylon, who graciously provided a caviar tray upon learning it was our first visit to Nick and Sam's. The culinary offerings were exquisite. I selected an item from their weekly specialty menu and found it to be an excellent choice. This restaurant is highly recommended. We plan to host our out-of-town guests at Nick & Sam's. (I did not capture many photographs. Additionally, our GPS directed us to the restaurant's rear entrance.)

Everything about Nick & Sam's was amazing. From the food to the aesthetics and service. Had 8pm reservations and waited about an extra 20-30 minutes to be seated, I understand why though. The menu has a lot of options and the atmosphere makes you want to stay forever. My wife and I celebrated our anniversary with dinner. Servers were super friendly and helpful, they showed us all the variety of meats they had to offer before we ordered. Our meals were cooked to perfection, great tasting steak, and big family sized sides. The cake is well worth the $35 it was a huge slice that was flavorful with each bite. Amazing experience overall.

We had a really great experience here. First off the bar is fantastic and a good time, great atmosphere and beautiful building. We did have to wait a little longer than expected because the hosts forgot about us, there’s probably a slightly better system they can use to remember who is who and where in the bar to find us but, all was immediately forgiven because the manager Weiland came by immediately with some complementary champagnes for and apologized for it, he was incredibly professional and well spoken. Really great guy. The food was fantastic. The steaks, the spinach was probably the best spinach I’ve ever tried in my entire life, the mashed potatoes and prawns were excellent. Can’t forget about the oysters. Multiple oyster options, all the good stuff! Our server Tiffany was amazing, she explained our menu options perfectly and gave us fantastic knowledge of everything we asked for as well as what we can do after in the area since we’re not from here. She was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, kind and professional. Can’t say enough great things, truly. I can appreciate the mini mag-lites all the servers carry around, they have a very soft and warm temperature in their beam which is perfect for illuminating the steak and seafood options as well as the menu without being hard on the eyes. Very professional. I’m a flashlight nerd so I must take the time to acknowledge the flashlights to satisfy the itch in my monkey brain. Thank you. Our experience was terrific here and we will absolutely be returning and recommending to others. At one point a busboy was careless and blew the confetti (signifies birthday) into our food when he was setting a different table and Weiland immediately came and took care of us, got us right with what we needed in a matter of seconds. He is absolutely one of the most professional managers we’ve ever seen. Fantastic. Genuinely. Man operates on 0 delay. I have 0 bad things to say. At all! To the owner or anyone above him, give him and your staff 2 pats on the back and maybe a bonus or something because they’re excellent and the restaurant is undoubtedly lucky to have them! I’d also like to acknowledge another server Jared, for being incredibly professional and kind, everyone really went above and beyond. Jared showed me his flashlight and even gave us helped us out on multiple occasions, we’ll absolutely be back to visit you guys. Thanks! And see ya’ll someday soon

Ordered prime aged cowboy with sautéed forest mushrooms, roasted Brussels sprouts and potatoes Au gratin, Everything was delicious!! Service was very helpful, answered all my questions and gave me some recommendations. we made a reservation and got there 5 minutes earlier, the table was ready and we didn’t have to wait. I truly recommend the passion fruit coconut tres leches. The place was a little cold, I had to wear my sweater all the time.

I had an incredible experience at Nick & Sam’s Steakhouse. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt upscale yet welcoming, and the service was absolutely top-tier. Our server, Lexi, truly made the night unforgettable. She was attentive without being overbearing, incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and gave fantastic recommendations. You can tell she genuinely cares about making sure every guest has an amazing experience. Her timing was perfect, our drinks were never empty, and she made the entire dinner feel special. The food was phenomenal. The steaks were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor, and every side we ordered was just as impressive. It’s clear why this place is considered one of the best steakhouses in Dallas. Between the outstanding food, the elegant atmosphere, and Lexi’s exceptional service, this was easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. If you’re going to Nick & Sam’s, ask for Lexi — she’ll take great care of you. Highly recommend. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

SAVED OUR BIRTHDAYS! We had went to another restaurant to begin with and service was awful. We grabbed an uber and planned to head back to the hotel when our driver recommended Nick & Sam’s. This absolutely turned the night around. They quickly got to getting a table ready for us and while we waited we were able to delectably dine on a caviar & champagne bar. We then got seated! Hats of to them as they decorated so sweetly. Luis our server was quick to greet us. We always had a drink in hand and everything else we needed. Anything we said we wanted they made it happen. Service was beyond excellent. The drinks, the steaks, the sides, the cotton candy and even the gummy bears were delicious! Thanks again to Waylon and Luis for saving the night! Best place in town to celebrate!

My husband and I went to Nick & Sam's for the first time to celebrate my birthday. We were welcomed warmly and promptly shown to our table. Our waitress Olivia promptly came, introduced herself and said Happy Birthday as she added glitter to our table. From there we were awarded with smiles, complimentary champagne and caviar platter. Olivia very eloquently and efficiently presented the meat platter. it was hard to decide which cut looked more appetizing. We ordered our meal and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the red snapper and hubby had filet mignon. the portions were generous, and the taste was fresh and savory. then came dessert ... we ordered the carrot cake was HUGE (and we ordered the 1/2 portion). Dinner at Nick & Sam's is an experience - from the warm welcome to Olivia's attentiveness to the staff stopping by to say Happy Birthday. Nick & Sam's is more than a menu ... it's an adventure!! we can't wait to come back!!
